Galentines Party Idea | Card Making DIY

Valentine's Day Card Making and Party Decor Supplies

There is nothing better than a handmade Valentine’s Day card and a reason to party! Each year, I gather my girls and glitter and we have the best time making Valentines for all of our loved ones! Here are some tips on how to host the most magical DIY Galentines Day DIY card party:

The girls gather around the table to make crafts and cards

Set the mood for a Galentines Party

A few decorations can go a long way. A simple tablecloth makes everything feel festive (and not to mention it helps with clean up). Besides that, I went with some heart balloons, confetti, and a simple floral arrangement for the table! Here are some beautiful options for a cute galentines party setup.

Provide all of the supplies for making the cards

I usually lay out cardstock, stickers, ribbon, glitter, and scissors. I also love using photo splits because they make the cards so clean and you don’t have to wait for the glue to dry. You could always include envelopes and stickers for a little bit of spice. Here are some things I had waiting for my girls:

  • Cardstock – Give me all the pinks!
  • Stickers – These stickers are such a fun throwback. Everyone will love them! I also got a pack of these stickers just to switch it up a bit. They got used a lot!
  • Photo splits – Because no one has time to wait for glue to dry.
  • Gel Pens – These pens write SO SMOOTH!
  • Envelopes + Stickers – These made our VERY homemade cards look very put together. They’re adorable!

Set up a snack bar

Pick up a fun pink beverage and some chocolatey snacks. Trader Joe’s has some awesome Sparkling Pink Lemonade options. Chocolate-covered strawberries, Hershey kisses, or a classic box of chocolates are all good options as well. I always like to pick a “wow” piece and this year, I ordered an amazing vintage-inspired heart cake from a local baker to complete the snack setup.

Give everyone a little Galentines Party goody to leave with

I love giving gifts, so this year, I gifted everyone an exclusive Stanley tumbler from Target’s Galentine’s collection! The colors scream Valentine’s Day, I just couldn’t help myself!

This year’s DIY Valentine’s Day card party was one for the books. Want to see how everything turned out? You can check it out here!
